We’ve grown our capabilities and now operate 11 Escomatic machines, dedicated to the production of high-volume runs of dowel pins, brass connectors and custom-made parts to drawing.
The company was formed by Alfred Widmer—his vast experience means he still plays an active part in the company—which is now headed up by his son, Levin, continuing the family heritage.
Escomatic machines are our passion—and we offer a reliable and cost-effective repair and refurbishment service. We can also source those hard-to-find spare parts that keep your machines up and running.

Small, complex components
Small parts are our specialty. We’re one of the leading manufacturers of bespoke components and dowel pins in the UK and operate to the following sizes and tolerances:
- – Sizes from 0.30mm to 6.40mm diameter
- – Lengths to 150mm
- – Tolerances turn 5 microns on OD
High-volume dowel pins
We manufacture our dowel pins to ISO and DIN standards and offer a manufacturing service which produces bespoke dowel pin service for specialist projects.
